Although most commercial lease renewals are governed by a statutory process, it is complicated and can be confusing. Even if you and your landlord or tenant agree about the terms for renewal, or termination, you should get expert legal advice.

As a commercial tenant, you have a legal right to renew your lease, but you must let your landlord know in advance.  Alternatively, your landlord may serve you notice that your lease is coming to an end.

In either case, we can help you ensure you comply with the statutory process and so protect your rights.  We can also help you renegotiate the terms of your lease, such a reduction in rent or service charges.

As a commercial landlord, we can help you get the best deal when negotiating terms with your tenants.  We can also ensure you act within the law if you want to find new tenants or regain possession of your property for your own use or redevelopment.

We will always provide our commercial clients with a fixed fee estimate upfront so you know what to expect, and we’ll keep you informed of any changes as your renewal progresses.
