Umar is a Trainee Solicitor in the Private Client department of Anthony Gold, based in our South London offices at London Bridge. He engages in a broad caseload, assisting with Will-drafting, the creation of Trusts, providing tax advice to clients and also dealing with the administration of high-value estates and intestacies.
Umar joined Anthony Gold as a trainee in September 2017 and spent his first year in the Injury and Medical Claims Department, assisting on high value, catastrophic injury claims as well as stress at work and psychiatric injury claims.
Umar graduated from the University of Warwick in 2015 with an upper second-class degree in Law. He then obtained a Distinction in his LLM LPC from the University of Law in 2017. Prior to joining Anthony Gold, Umar spent time volunteering with several charities including Restless Beings, i-Probono and Team Up, as well as co-founding charity research organisation Supply Without Chains, which campaigned for a more stringent Modern Slavery law prior to the Royal Assent of the Modern Slavery Act in March 2015.
