Having joined the firm in 2014, Louise completed her legal training at Anthony Gold before qualifying as a solicitor and joining our Injury & Medical Claims team in March 2017. During her time here, Louise has gained invaluable experience working alongside both Dr Jock Mackenzie, assisting him on some of the firms largest and most complex Clinical Negligence claims, and subsequently with Andrew Brookes in the housing team working on a variety of high value and complex cases. Louise has experience working with a range of clients, both individual and corporate.
Louise currently handles her own caseload of personal injury and clinical negligence matters, as well as assisting partners Jackie Spinks and David Marshall on their catastrophic injury cases.
Outside of her day-to-day role, Louise dedicates time to a number of pro bono and volunteer activities, indicative of her commitment to access to justice. She is the co-ordinator of paralegal support and a volunteer adviser at Centre 70’s Legal Advice Clinic; a Trustee of Southwark Law Centre and a director and trustee of Global Justice Now, a campaign organisation. Louise is also the pro bono coordinator of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee at Anthony Gold and has recently started working with the University of Greenwich Innocence Project.
