Laura is a newly qualified Solicitor having recently re-joined the Court of Protection team and is based in our Streatham office.
Laura works with David Wedgwood, Nicola Gunn and Donovan Lindsay to assist with the daily management of Property and Affairs Deputyships and can also advise on lay deputyship appointments. Laura is also working alongside Grainne Feeney in the administration of various Trust matters. Laura is taking a positive and pro-active approach to expanding her knowledge and practical experience to develop a specialism in more complex trust matters.
Laura recently completed her training contract at Anthony Gold, having gained invaluable experience working in both the Family Team and the Injury and Medical Claims Team. Whilst in the Family team Laura worked closely with Partners David Emmerson, Kim Beatson and Sarah Hughes on a range of multifaceted family disputes. Prior to this Laura trained with Jenny Kennedy and Ian Peters on a wide range of catastrophic personal injury and clinical negligence claims. This enabled Laura to gain insight into the litigation process and further develop her strong client care skills with a wide range of vulnerable clients – her most valued part of the role.
Laura first joined Anthony Gold in September 2015 as a Paralegal in the Court of Protection Team. Laura is fluent in Spanish and enjoys putting her language skills into practice to assist the wider team at the firm. Alongside her work, Laura loves taking part in Responsible Business initiatives and raising funds for both our Charity of the Year as well as other organisations.
