Specialising in contentious trusts and probate law, Alexandra is based in our South London offices at London Bridge. Acting for claimants, defendants and personal representatives, she deals with a wide range of contentious trust and estate matters.
Alexandra’s work includes advising and representing those who feel they have missed out on an inheritance and disputes around the misuse of trust money. She also advises personal representatives to help them navigate disputes between beneficiaries and move the distribution of an estate forward.
Alexandra’s practice also involves acting for adults who, due to lack of mental capacity, have been taken advantage of. Such cases often involve a Trustee, Deputy, or Attorney (under a Lasting Power of Attorney) fraudulently stealing money or abusing power granted to them.
Alexandra also advises clients on professional negligence, property ownership disputes, employment and debt recovery matters.
Committed to doing what is best for her client’s Alexandra is careful about managing costs. She keeps clients informed on the progression of their claim and resolutely focuses on ensuring her clients end up in a better position than at the start of the process.
Calm, open, and pragmatic, Alexandra is a calm port in what can be a storm of emotions that occur when grieving relatives find themselves under sudden financial stress. Her clients enjoy the confidence that their matter is moving forward; allowing them to attend to their family and work with a clear mind.
Alexandra is also speaks Spanish and some Italian having studied both at university.
