Rent Repayment Order Week: Can RROs be an effective tool for tenants against the very worst landlords?

For today’s instalment of rent repayment order week, we are publishing a podcast: our solicitors Eleanor Solomon and Robin Stewart sat down with Ben Reeve-Lewis from Safer Renting to discuss access to justice in the context of RROs, the practical realities for tenants of bringing claims without legal representation, and some tips for tenants on how to actually enforce these orders if the landlord refuses to pay.
If you would like to read more about Ben’s work he writes the Safer Renting blog. Safer Renting and Dr Julie Rugg recently published a report ‘Journeys in the Shadow Private Rented Sector’ and that is available for download here.
