Our client's husband was facing possible bankruptcy. We acted to protect her interest in the matrimonial home by issuing protective declaratory proceedings and constructing a settlement which involves the payment by the wife of some of the husband's creditors.

In order to prevent the family, which included three young children, from becoming homeless it was essential to have an Order of the Court before any bankruptcy proceedings were filed.
