We were one of the first firms to be granted a Community Legal Service franchise for clinical negligence work. This means that, if you are eligible, we can apply for public funding (“legal aid”) for you to bring a claim. To be granted public funding you have to show that you are financially eligible.

Anthony Gold has also been at the forefront of the development of conditional fee agreements, commonly known as "No Win, No Fee" arrangements. If we take on your case under a no win, no fee agreement, we are paid nothing if we lose the case. This means you would not have to pay anything if we were unsuccessful in obtaining compensation for you.

If you win the case, we ensure that your opponent has to pay your legal costs as well as your compensation. If you lose the case, you would normally be ordered to pay your opponent's legal costs. We therefore arrange insurance to cover the risk of this happening. This means that if you did lose, you would not need to worry about having to pay any costs to your opponent.

We also act for private paying clients and for those with legal expense insurance.
