Stephanie handles a mix of complex personal injury and clinical negligence work, with a particular interest in birth injuries, child abuse claims (involving claims against individuals and local authorities) and fatal accident cases.

She is representing several clients who have suffered personal loss and damage as a result of issues surrounding the Implanon Contraceptive Implant. She has appeared on Channel 4 News and is speaking to BBC Radio and television and various newspapers including The Guardian, The Telegraph and the Daily Mail about the impact the mis-insertion of the implant has had on her clients.

Other recent cases include a successful seven figure settlement of a spinal injury claim. Stephanie is currently preparing for an inquest involving the death of a 27 year old woman due to alleged misdiagnosis of a commonly treated medical condition. Stephanie is also investigating a claim involving a claimant with a spinal injury following a routine orthopaedic procedure. Stephanie continues to handle child abuse claims and group actions against local authorities.

Before training as a solicitor Stephanie was a Registered General Nurse and the knowledge and skills she gained are an invaluable asset to her current work. She qualified as a solicitor in 1997 and joined Anthony Gold in 2009. She became a Partner in August 2009.

She is a member of the Law Society’s Clinical Negligence Panel. She is a member of the AvMA Referral Panel and has chaired and spoken at the AvMA Medicine for Lawyers conference. She is also a member of the Association of Child Abuse Lawyers and a Senior Litigator CPIL/APIL. She has a Diploma in Forensic Medical Science and is the Legal Editor of and contributes quarterly to Medicine Science and the Law. She also regularly contributes to Personal Injury Law Journal. She is an examiner for the Diploma in Forensic Medical Sciences which involves contributing potential questions for the examination and marking the papers and dissertations. Stephanie is also a volunteer for Headway.

The Legal 500 describes Stephanie as having "sound judgement". She is "an excellent addition to the team". Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession 2012 ranks her as a "leading individual". She is described as having particular knowledge of birth injury cases, and is noted for providing exemplary client care.

Outside work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her young family, eating out, DIY and a good book when she has a quiet few minutes to spare.
