Sarah Hughes

Solicitor

Sarah specialises in all areas of family law, including divorce, ancillary relief, children matters, cohabitation disputes and separation agreements.

Sarah has a wide-ranging caseload with a particular interest in ancillary relief proceedings, and works closely with Partner Ellie Chapman. She has worked on a number of high value ancillary relief cases, including cases with an international element. 

After graduating from the University of Nottingham with a 2:1 degree in Law, Sarah achieved a distinction in her LPC at Nottingham Law School.

Sarah is a keen writer and has written articles published in Family Law and Resolution Review. She trained with Anthony Gold and qualified as a solicitor in 2008.

Sarah is interested in voluntary and charity work. She provides pro bono advice at the Families Need Fathers monthly meetings in London. She has also taken part in a sponsored 469ft abseil to raise money for a local children’s hospital and she organised for Anthony Gold's Family department to take part in the Moonwalk London 2008 to raise breast cancer awareness.

Sarah is a member of Resolution, Young Solicitors Group, and the Junior Lawyers Division of the South London Law Society.
