Sandra De Souza

Solicitor

Sandra is a member of our personal injury department and specialises in all aspects of personal injury and clinical negligence law. She has a mixed case load of fast track and serious injury work. Sandra has experience of catastrophic injury claims and has a particular interest in cases involving amputations.

Sandra works closely with Stephanie Prior, one of the department's Partners, assisting her with her child abuse caseload. In addition, Sandra has experience of dealing with CICA claims for victims of child abuse.

After graduating from Nottingham Trent University with a law degree, Sandra studied for her Legal Practice Course at the Inns of Court School of Law in London. Prior to joining Anthony Gold, Sandra was a paralegal for a number of years with a leading personal injury law firm, working with clients with complex brain and spinal cord injuries. She joined Anthony Gold initially as a paralegal to Jenny Kennedy before becoming her trainee. She qualified as a solicitor in March 2009.

Sandra is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and the Association of Child Abuse Lawyers. She also contributes regularly to APIL's Personal Injury Law, Practice and Precedents Bulletin.

Sandra has recovered substantial settlements for her clients with injuries ranging from whiplash to head injuries.

Outside of work her interests include food, travelling, playing netball and she is also a qualified lifeguard.
