Sana recently acted for a woman who suffered severe injuries when she was knocked down by an uninsured driver. The woman spent several weeks in hospital and was left with permanent scarring and restricted movement. Sana settled the claim for £350,000.
In another case, Sana acted for a man who needed reconstructive surgery following a road accident, with the likelihood of further surgery being required in the future. The client's claim for loss of earnings was complicated by the fact he was not working at the time of the accident, plus most of his previous positions were overseas. However, Sana settled the claim for £65,000.
Sana settled a case for a pedestrian who was knocked down and gravely injured whilst walking along the pavement. The woman, a bio-medical scientist was unable to work for one year and could only return to part time work, on light duties. She recovered damages in excess of £450,000.
She also settled a claim for a scaffolder who was unable to carry on working in that capacity. He received damages of £120,000 after he suffered a crush injury to his dominant hand whilst at work.
Other recent successes include obtaining an award of £472,000 for a woman who suffered below the knee amputation and an order for provisional damages for a child who sustained a head injury after falling out of a window.
Sana is a member the Law Society's Personal Injury Panel and is accredited with Litigator Status by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. She regularly lectures our team on personal injury matters.
