Finance Director, Non-Solicitor Partner
Having joined Anthony Gold as Financial Controller in 1995, Rafiq developed the finance function to match the growth of the practice, with particular emphasis on controls and reporting. He was promoted to Finance Director in 2000, managing the business and undertaking strategic planning in conjunction with the Partners, as well as heading up a finance department of six.
He qualified in 1986 and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Prior to joining Anthony Gold he worked within the accountancy profession specialising in audit and taxation.
A keen amateur ballroom and latin dancer competing at national level, Rafiq is also a national champion in bridge and a regular tennis player.
