Lisa-Jane joined Anthony Gold in 1998 having worked for 14 years alongside solicitors specialising in clinical negligence work at Halls Solicitors and Leigh, Day & Co.
She has extensive experience of working with children and approximately 25% of her caseload consists of personal injury and clinical negligence claims for young people. Her recent successes include obtaining:
- an award for £100,000 for soft tissue injuries suffered during a cycling accident.
- a sum in excess of £70,000 for negligently performed bowel surgery.
- a significant award for a Grenadian woman who suffered an accident whilst in the UK visiting her serviceman son, who was being awarded the Victoria Cross for his bravery in the line of duty.
- a six figure sum agreed settlement (two days before trial) for clinical negligence resulting in permanent loss of vision to a 30 year old man.
Lisa-Jane is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and is our representative to the Court Users Group of the Mayor's and City of London Court. She is our team co-ordinator for the charitable work that we do with our local Headway branch.
