Ian specialises in all aspects of personal injury law, including occupier's liability, public liability, road traffic accidents and highways liability claims. He has a mixed case load of serious injury work and also works with Partner Jenny Kennedy, assisting her in her catastrophic injury practice.
Recent cases include obtaining damages in excess of £50,000 for a musician who suffered injuries in a road traffic accident which prevented her making a comeback for the 30th anniversary of punk. He also obtained damages in excess of £45,000 for a woman injured whilst travelling as a passenger in a car. She sustained physical and psychiatric injuries and was unable to accept job offers.
After graduating with a law degree from Nottingham Trent University, Ian took the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in London. He then spent 3 years working as a personal injury paralegal for a leading personal injury law firm. During this time he undertook general personal injury work as well as dealing with claims to the Irish Residential Institutions Redress Board for survivors of child abuse.
He is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.
Outside of work, Ian's interests include playing football, golf, snooker and attending live music events. He also holds a season ticket for West Ham United.
