Anthony Gold accepts PIP Implant cases through Connect2Law

You are probably aware of the problems surrounding breast implants produced by the French company Poly Implant Prothese (PIP implants). These implants were heavily used in the UK and are believed to have been placed in around 40,000 women.

These implants have an increased chance of rupturing and contain silicone and other chemicals which are not approved for medical use. One lady in France has died, possibly as a result of cancer associated with the chemicals used in her implant. Health problems have been reported in many other women.

All stocks of these implants have been formally recalled. In France, the government has stated that it will replace all PIP implants in any woman with them.  In the UK, the NHS and some other private clinics have said that they will replace PIP implants they have put in. Other private clinics in the UK have so far refused to replace PIP implants unless they have burst.

Anthony Gold Solicitors has a long history of work in matters involving injury through medical error or failed medical appliances. Stephanie Prior,a leader in this area after her successful work on the Implanon contraceptive implant is now accepting cases on PIP implants. She has written extensively on the subject of PIP breast implants and has already secured a number of clients.

Anthony Gold will treat referrals through the Connect2Law scheme regarding PIP or other breast implants as personal injury cases and will pay the sum of £250 in advance on referral of a suitable case with a final payment of 7.5% of base costs recovered.
