About the Artist
Lynne has always painted and drawn, but her professional career took off fully when she left teaching in 2000.
She has had solo exhibitions at The Barbican and The Knapp Gallery and joint exhibitions at The Festival Hall on the South Bank, The West of England Academy, The Mall Galleries and many more.
Her paintings are now in private and public collections all over the world.
Awards for her achievements include "Service to the Arts" in her home town Chelmsford, and winner for Anglia of the "Contemporary Art Prize" for Pizza Express in 2000, when her entry was spotted by the late George Melly, one of the prestigious judges.
Her style of painting is constantly changing and evolving and she now produces a very diverse range of subjects and techniques which cater for all tastes.
Lynne's paintings and Limited Edition prints can be found in several Galleries in this country.
