Your landlord is responsible for carrying out essential maintenance and repair to the building in which you live.Refusing to do so can mean your flat no longer feels like home and lead to high levels of stress.

Details of the areas your landlord is responsible for will be set out in your lease agreement.  Landlord responsibility usually covers walls, the roof, any common parts and sometimes windows, water and central heating.

If your landlord won’t make any necessary repairs, despite repeated requests to do so, we can help.  Sometimes simply getting a solicitor involved can mean things get fixed immediately, but if not we can force them to get the work done.

We can also make a claim on your behalf for any costs you’ve incurred and secure compensation for any stress and inconvenience you’ve suffered because your landlord failed to make the repairs.

In most cases we can provide this service under a ‘no win, no fee’ agreement, meaning you don’t have to worry about costs.
