Yasir is a paralegal within the Housing and Property Disputes Team. He primarily supports Andrew Brookes and Wallace White on acting for tenants with cases such as disrepair, succession, possession, etc. He has attained an Honours degree in Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and has subsequently completed the Legal Practice Course from the University of Law.
Prior to working for Anthony Gold, Yasir has a wide range of legal experience ranging from Housing, Immigration, Commercial and Civil Litigation within local authorities, charities and private law firms. He has taken a keen interest in Housing Law which initiated from his previous roles in housing charities like Shelter. He also has experience of defending tenants on the Duty Advice Scheme and takes a great appreciation in helping tenants to keep a roof over their heads.
Yasir’s other interests consist of playing football and cricket. He also studies Arabic and can converse in Urdu and Punjabi.
