With over a decade’s experience in leasehold law, Ian heads up the leasehold services department.  He is based in our Streatham office.

Ian enjoys being able to give his clients certainty of outcome.  He specialises in advising leaseholders and freeholders on their statutory rights regarding flat ownership, including the right to buy, right to manage, leasehold extensions, and leasehold enfranchisement.

Ian is recognised as a leading authority in this sector. He is a leasehold reform specialist and has been a partner at Anthony Gold since 2010.  He has frequently been called upon by the UK government to advise on the viability of legislative reform in the leasehold sector.

Ian guides clients from start to finish through every aspect of the process and has significant expertise in taking claims through to the Tribunal.

His team has wide experience in dealing with claims across the major London estates (such as the Grosvenor, Portman, Cadogan, and Howard de Walden Estates) – as well as on the Crown Estate.  They also advise on a significant volume of tenant enfranchisement claims for flat owners in Greater London’s suburbs.
